It is a genre-bending “Runner-Decorator”
While the mobile market is flooded with standard endless runners, Decor Dash attempts to shake up the formula by merging two distinct genres. The game combines the high-speed mechanics of an endless runner with the “creative expression” of a home décor simulator.
Players control Boggo, the franchise’s “favorite introvert,” racing through colorful environments to collect coins and items. These resources are then used in the simulation side of the game to renovate and decorate Boggo’s apartment. It is designed to balance the adrenaline of the run with a more relaxing, creative loop.
It is a major India-US co-development

The game represents a strategic collaboration between BuzzFeed Animation Lab in the US and Reliance Games in India.
- BuzzFeed Animation Lab led the creative vision, handling the character-driven storytelling to ensure the game retained the specific humor and “spirit” of the original animations.
- Reliance Games, a division of Reliance Entertainment with studios in Mumbai and Pune, handled the technical development and publishing.
Amit Khanduja, CEO of Reliance Entertainment Digital, noted that the collaboration was a “rewarding creative journey” aimed at making the narrative feel intuitive for mobile players.
It is loaded with ‘Easter Eggs’ for fans
For long-time followers of The Land of Boggs, the game serves as an interactive extension of the show. The developers have packed the world with “Easter eggs” and references to the wider Boggs universe that fans will recognize immediately.
However, the game is also pitched as an entry point for casual gamers. According to the developers, the gameplay loop is designed to be “humorous and highly replayable,” ensuring that you don’t need to be a superfan of the series to enjoy the core mechanics.
The Land of Boggs: Decor Dash is available now on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
