The Oppo F5 is expected to feature a Full HD bezel-less display and come with an AI Beauty mode feature. The AI is said to touch-up photos taken by the smartphone and recognise skin tone, type as well.

.Oppo has started sending out media invites for its Oppo F5 smartphone launch. The company will be announcing the smartphone on November 2 and according to rumours, the Oppo F5 is expected to be launched with a bezel-less display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Oppo will launch the smartphone in Philippines first on October 26.

The Oppo F5 is rumoured to sport a bezel-less 6-inch display with 2160 x 1080 resolution. It can be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC and feature 6GB of RAM, coupled with 64GB of internal storage. The device is said to sport a 20MP rear camera and a 16MP front facing dual camera setup. The Oppo F5 is rumoured to be powered by a 4000mAh battery. It is expected to sport a fingerprint sensor on the back, and come in Red and Black variants.

Oppo’s media invite highlights the camera of the Oppo F5 phone, which will come with an AI beauty mode feature. The AI is said to beautify photos taken by the F5’s camera and the company claims that it can recognise skin tone, type, gender and age as well. 

Oppo had recently listed its rebranded A57 as the Oppo F3 Lite on its Vietnamese website. The smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 platform and comes with 3GB RAM. The F3 Lite features a 5.2-Inch HD 2.5D curved display with Gorilla Glass 4 protection. 

The Oppo F3 Lite sports a 13MP rear camera with PDAF support, LED flash and CMOS sensor and gets a 16MP front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies. It is backed by a 2900mAH battery and sports a fingerprint sensor, which is integrated with the device’s home button. It features 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded upto 256GB via a microSD card.
