Asus unveils the Transformer Book T100 in India

Asus has launched the Transformer Book T100, a compact ultra-portable device powered by the new Intel Atom quad-core processor that features a 10.1-inch HD display which can also be used as a Windows 8.1 tablet.

Asus officially announced the launch of the Transformer Book T100 at an event in New Delhi.

The Transformer Book T100 sports a 10.1 inch screen with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels featuring IPS technology and a detachable HD display. It is powered by the Intel Atom Z3740 quad-core processor. On the connectivity front, the Transformer Book T100 supports USB 3.0, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. Transformer Book T100 is not only one of the lightest laptops currently available at just 1.07kg, but also one of the lightest 10-inch tablets around, at 550g, allowing the flexibility to switch between the two in an instant.

It features the Asus Instant On technology thereby waking up instantly from stand by mode which helps the device last up to 14 hours in stand by and 11 hours on battery power.

 

It also comes bundled with Microsoft Office Home & Student 2013 with full versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote.

The Asus Transformer Book T100 will be available in India for Rs. 34,099 across select Asus authorized retail outlets starting November 2013. Check the full specifications in the table below:
