The new Galaxy Z TriFold introduces a dual-hinge design that unfolds into a tablet-sized display. There are changes that the company may showcase the new device at CES 2026 and its upcoming Unpacked event, which will likely take place in February 2026. According to Samsung, the Galaxy Z TriFold takes “premium performance and experience of an ultra phone to the next level by unfolding twice to reveal the most immersive screen on a phone, providing ultimate productivity of mobile workspace and cinematic viewing.”

Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold availability
Samsung has not yet revealed the official price of the Galaxy Z TriFold. However, the company has confirmed that the phone will go on sale in South Korea on December 12, with launches planned in other markets such as China, Taiwan, Singapore, the UAE and the US. The device will be available only in a Crafted Black finish.

Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold’s standout feature is the large 10-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X inner display, offering 120Hz refresh rate and 1,600-nit peak brightness. On the outside, it sports a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED cover screen protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset built on a 3nm process, paired with 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. For photography, there is a triple-rear camera setup, which includes a 200MP wide-angle camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto camera with up to 30x digital zoom. For selfies and video calls, there is a 10MP camera on the front of both the cover and inner displays. Furthermore, the phone is backed by a 5,600mAh battery that supports 45W wired and 15W wireless charging.
