Specifications
The E8S Pro is offered in three sizes, viz., 75, 85, and 100 inches, each featuring a dense Mini-LED backlight array with 4,200, 7,020, and 9,360 local dimming zones, respectively. The display uses RGB Mini-LEDs instead of single-colour LEDs, eliminating the need for a quantum-dot colour layer while boosting colour accuracy and brightness.

Hisense claims a 6,200 nits peak brightness via its proprietary XDR Pro enhancement and full coverage of the BT.2020 colour gamut with 108-bit colour depth and 99% colour purity. The setup is also designed to reduce harmful blue light emissions by up to 42%.
Under the hood, the TV runs on MediaTek’s MT9655 chipset with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The picture processing is handled by Hisense’s Hi-View Engine H7, which uses AI for pixel-level scene recognition, tone mapping, and noise reduction.
For connectivity, there are four HDMI 2.1 ports with 48Gbps bandwidth, USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports, Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.4.
The E8S Pro’s biggest upgrade is its 170Hz native 4K panel, which can push up to 330Hz at 1080p resolution. This makes it ideal for next-gen console and PC gamers. Support for Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low-Latency Mode (ALLM), and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro further enhances responsiveness.
For audio, Hisense has partnered with Devialet to design a 4.2.2-channel speaker system with a 7.6-litre cavity delivering 270W output power. The setup supports Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and IMAX Enhanced, promising immersive, cinema-grade sound.
The design retains a metallic frame, a slim 44mm profile, and a wall mount option, appealing to users seeking a minimalist aesthetic.
For now, the Hisense E8S Pro remains a China-only release, but given its gaming-first hardware and audio pedigree, it could become one of the most tempting Mini-LED options if brought to global markets. It’ll be interesting to see how it fares against high-end OLEDs and regular Mini LED TVs.
