Xiaomi has expanded its high-end Mini LED TV lineup with the launch of the Xiaomi TV S Pro Mini LED 2026 edition TV in a new 98-inch model in China. The new variant follows the 85-inch version introduced earlier this year and the 55, 65, and 75-inch models unveiled in Europe last month. This is designed for people who want big-screen home entertainment and a high-end gaming experience.

Specifications and features
The 98-inch Xiaomi TV S Pro Mini LED features a 4K UHD (3840×2160) QD Mini LED panel with 178° viewing angle, 144Hz native refresh rate, and MEMC 4K 120Hz motion smoothing. It covers 94% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and supports HDR10+, HLG, Dolby Vision, and Filmmaker Mode (for tuning as the creator intended). The display offers peak brightness of up to 1300 nits and global dimming with 880 Mini LED zones to improve contrast and detail in dark scenes.
Furthermore, Xiaomi’s Visual Engine Pro integrates low-reflection coating and global dimming algorithms to maintain image clarity in bright environments and improve shadow detail. For gamers, the TV supports up to 288Hz refresh rate, promising smoother motion and lower input lag across fast-paced titles.
For audio, you get a 7-unit speaker setup (2×15W + 25W + 2×8W) tuned by Harman, supporting Dolby Atmos and Harman AudioEFX sound optimisation.
The TV runs on Google TV and is powered by a quad-core Cortex-A73 processor paired with Mali-G52 (2EE) MC1 GPU, 4GB RAM, and 64GB internal storage. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, three HDMI 2.1 ports (with CEC, ALLM, VRR, and eARC), two USB ports (2.0 and 3.0), Ethernet, optical audio output, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a CI+ slot.
It has a very slim frame and a dual-stand that could offer a minimal look for large living spaces.
Compared to the smaller models in the lineup, the 98-inch S Pro Mini LED offers a larger panel with the same advanced backlighting and motion clarity systems. It scales up the cinematic experience to a near projector-sized screen.
