Lenovo W540 Review : The most powerful business laptop we’ve tested
VERDICT:

Looking at the machine’s hardware capability, its performance blows past all business laptops we’ve tested till December 2014. What’s particularly surprising and noteworthy is the laptop’s better-than-average loud and clear speakers for a pleasant audio experience.

The accompanying trackpoint navigation is as addictive as ever, something that’s guaranteed to make you forget the traditional touchpad slab found on almost all laptops. These two input options are one of the best we’ve experienced on a laptop, and the W540’s dedicated numpad packs in great convenience for spreadsheet obsessed business executives. The laptop’s screen is matte, which is great for business usage, but it has mediocre viewing angles. Looking at the machine’s hardware capability, its performance blows past all business laptops we’ve tested till December 2014. What’s particularly surprising and noteworthy is the laptop’s better-than-average loud and clear speakers for a pleasant audio experience. As a business laptop, the W540 comes with Intel vPro and other security features, not to mention proprietary software for easy maintenance of the laptop.

If you’re CAD and 3D modelling, definitely consider this laptop from Lenovo. Also check out HP ZBook and Dell Precision M3800 which are pretty good laptops to go for in this segment.
