Boat launches Storm Call 4 and Ultima Vogue 2 smartwatches: Price in India, specifications, features and more
One of the leading makers in the smartwatch space, Boat, has officially unveiled two of its new smartwatches in the Indian market. The company claims that these new watches are India’s first Type-C charging smartwatches. The lineup includes the Storm Call 4 and the Ultima Vogue 2, and the main highlight here is the USB Type-C charging support. It means that users can now charge these smartwatches using the same cable they already use with their phones, laptops, and power banks. Specifications
Coming to the specifications, firstly, let’s start with the Storm Call 4. It is the more accessible of the two smartwatches, and it comes with a 1.96-inch HD display with up to 500 nits of brightness. It supports a bunch of features like Bluetooth calling, a functional crown, and IP68 water and dust resistance. In terms of battery life, the maker claims the watch lasts 12 days. Speaking of health-related features, it comes with heart rate, SpO2, sleep, and stress monitoring, along with over 100 sports modes and Emergency SOS support.
Moving on to the more premium Ultima Vogue 2, it gets a step up in terms of the display, as it comes with a 1.96-inch AMOLED display and a brighter 1000 nits peak brightness. It also adds a metallic frame for a more premium look. Meanwhile, the battery life is slightly lower, rated at up to 10 days. Just like the Storm Call 4, it shares the same IP68 rating, Bluetooth calling, 100+ sports modes, and health monitoring suite, including female wellness tracking.
Pricing and availability
Speaking of pricing and availability, the Storm Call 4 is priced at Rs 1,599, while the Ultima Vogue 2 is priced at Rs 2,799. The pre-bookings for the Storm Call 4 opened on Boat’s official website on 29 May. Meanwhile, the full launch is scheduled for 12 June across the company’s official website and major retail platforms.
