Vu has launched its new range of 4K HDR TVs and curved TVs in India. The 4K HDR TVs are available in 65-inch and 75-inch panels, and are priced at Rs. 1.56 lac and Rs. 3 lac respectively. Vu calls its HDR technology 'PixelightHDR'. The 4K curved TVs are available in 55-inch and 65-inch panels, and are priced at Rs. 1.55 lac and 1.85 lac respectively. However, the curved TVs do not feature HDR.

The HDR TVs have been launched under VU's new Premium range, and feature technology such as Ultra dimming, which the company claims to create richer blacks, purer whites and enhanced colour. Further, the TVs also use a proprietary Motion Estimation and Compensation (MEMC) technology that the company calls Ultra Smooth Motion. This reportedly creates and inserts frames into the picture, to enable smoother transitions for the viewer. The Smart TV comes with a built-in Wi-Fi and Ethernet ports and has YouTube and Netflix apps pre-loaded. The TVs also come with an App Store, and in terms of connectivity, the Premium range of TVs are equipped with four HDMI ports and three USB ports.

VU's curved TVs are under the company's Luxury range, and are powered by quad-core CPUs and GPUs. Further, the TVs run on Android Lollipop, and users will be able to access apps such as Opera and Facebook.
