Samsung is aiming for the first public showcase at CES 2026 in Las Vegas.
Samsung has announced the expansion of its Micro RGB TV lineup for 2026, bringing the ultra-premium display technology to a broader range of screen sizes. While previously the Samsung Micro RGB TV was available in a gigantic 115-inch model, the new lineup adds a 100-inch, an 85-inch, a 75-inch, a 65-inch and even a 55-inch model. The move signals Samsung’s intent to make its most advanced RGB LED display technology accessible beyond ultra-large, showcase-sized TVs, while reinforcing its position at the top end of the home entertainment market.
SurveySamsung Micro RGB TV lineup features
Samsung’s Micro RGB TVs sit above its Neo QLED (Mini LED) and OLED offerings and are positioned as flagship displays focused on colour accuracy, brightness control and processing precision.
The Micro RGB technology uses red, green and blue LEDs measuring under 100 microns, with each LED emitting light independently. This allows finer light control and more accurate colour reproduction compared to conventional Mini LED LCD TVs.

The 2026 models are powered by the Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, a next-generation AI chipset designed to enhance clarity, motion and contrast on a frame-by-frame basis. These TVs will feature 4K AI Upscaling Pro and AI Motion Enhancer Pro work in real time to sharpen lower-resolution content and smooth fast-moving scenes like sports and action films. Samsung claims full coverage of the BT.2020 colour gamut through its Micro RGB Precision Colour 100 system, which has been certified by VDE. This places the TVs among the most colour-capable consumer displays currently announced.

To address real-world viewing conditions, Samsung is bringing its Glare Free screen technology to the Micro RGB lineup. The coating is designed to reduce reflections without sacrificing contrast, making the TVs more suitable for bright living rooms as well as darker home cinema setups.
On the audio side, Samsung is pairing the Micro RGB TVs with Dolby Atmos support, Adaptive Sound Pro and Q-Symphony, which allows the TV speakers to work in sync with compatible Samsung soundbars. All 2026 Samsung TVs, including the Micro RGB range, will also support Eclipsa Audio, a new spatial audio format aimed at delivering more immersive 3D sound.
The 2026 Micro RGB TVs also introduce an upgraded Vision AI Companion platform with conversational search, interactive questions and proactive content recommendations powered by LLMs and Bixby Voice Control. Samsung is also integrating AI-driven features such as Live Translate, Generative Wallpaper and third-party services like Perplexity.
Availability details and should you wait
Samsung has confirmed that the full 2026 Micro RGB lineup will be showcased at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, taking place from January 6 to January 9. Pricing and regional availability are expected to be announced closer to launch.
If you are considering a high-end OLED or flagship Mini LED TV in 2025, Samsung’s Micro RGB lineup is worth watching. The broader size range and focus on colour accuracy and glare control could make it a compelling option for buyers looking for top-tier performance without moving to ultra-large screens. However, final pricing will be key in determining how competitive it is against premium OLED models in the same size brackets.
Speaking on the announcement, Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, said the Micro RGB portfolio delivers ‘vivid colour and clarity that make movies, sports and TV shows feel more expressive and engaging,’ and the expanded 2026 lineup ‘fits a wider range of living spaces without compromising on picture quality.’
