Why this move matters
‘Bringing Lumio to Flipkart is a big step in expanding our availability across India,’ said Raghu Reddy, CEO of Lumio. ‘We’ve seen strong interest from customers right from the start, and we wanted to make it easier for more people to discover and buy Lumio in the way that feels most familiar to them. Flipkart helps us reach more households with the same promise of a premium viewing experience and dependable support.
As one of Lumio’s founders is a Flipkart veteran, the brand should be familiar with the platform’s ecosystem and scale.
Rakesh Krishnan, Vice President, Large Appliances at Flipkart, said, ‘We are happy to bring Lumio Vision smart TVs on our platform, further expanding the range of choices available in the fast-growing smart TV segment. This partnership reflects our customer-centric approach, combining cutting-edge technology with strong value to make immersive viewing experiences more accessible across India.’
In related news, alongside Flipkart, Lumio has also launched its own D2C platform, Lumio Store, where it sells Lumio Arc projectors directly. Together, these channels give buyers more choice in where and how they purchase Lumio products, while allowing the brand to balance reach with direct customer engagement.
