Vi has announced a new night-time free data offer.
The offer is available on Rs 249 and above plans.
The company is promising unlimited high-speed internet between 12AM and 6AM.
In its attempt to increase its user base, Vodafone (Vi) has launched a new "binge all-night offer," for its prepaid users. This new plan offers unlimited high-speed data at night (between 12 AM to 6 AM) at no extra cost. Interestingly, this offer is available to all users who have recharged their accounts with the Rs 249 or above prepaid plans. This offer is already live for existing users and details of it have also been revealed by Vi on its website.
Night binging on the Internet and OTT is on the rise, especially as people exercise flexible and remote working and spend more time-consuming content. To cater to this demand, Vi has announced high-speed night-time data without any restrictions, at no extra cost, for its prepaid customers.
With more of us becoming reliant on the internet, bonus unlimited high-speed night-time data will enable Vi customers to get a lot more out of life and their plan. Vi prepaid customers can now unwind after a long day with unlimited infotainment, connect with loved ones over long video calls, or schedule downloads without worrying about exhausting their daily data quota, "Vi said in a statement.
Who is the plan for?
The company also explained that since this is an industry-first proposition, it will greatly help many in the country, including the young users. In its statement, Vodafone also added that the unlimited high-speed night-time data can be used by Vi customers to browse and download a variety of content from various OTT applications such as Vi Movies and TV App. Vi revealed that its movies app is downloaded by more than 10 million Vi subscribers to date and promises access to over 9500+ movies, in 13 different languages and 400+ live TV channels along.
Over and above this, Vi also extends weekend rollover data benefit to users who are on its Rs 249 and above plans. This lets users make use of unused data during the weekends. Vi also gives users access to double data on prepaid plans priced at Rs 299, Rs 449, and Rs 699
