JioPhone is now available on discount. Reliance Jio has also announced a new plan worth Rs 1,699 which has a year-long validity and offers unlimited 4G data and voice calls until next Diwali.
Reliance Jio has a lot of plans up its sleeve for the Diwali season, ranging from cashback offers to gift cards. A total of 8 offers are included in the Diwali Dhamaka sale. As part of the Jio Dhamaka Sale, you can get 100 percent cashback on plans priced above Rs 149. Even the JioPhone is on discount and you can get it along with a plan that offers unlimited voice calls and data for Rs 1,095.
The JioPhone 2 is the company’s latest smart feature phone that sports a physical QWERTY keyboard and has support for Google Assistant, WhatsApp and Facebook. It's available from November 5.
Further, Jio announced a new plan worth Rs 1,699. The plan has year-long validity and offers unlimited 4G data and voice calls until next Diwali. All plans above Rs 149 have 100 percent cashback, which will be given as Reliance Digital coupons in the MyJio app.
Plans priced at Rs 149, Rs 198, Rs 299, Rs 349, Rs 398, Rs 399, Rs 449, Rs 498, Rs 509, Rs 799, Rs 999, Rs 1699, Rs 1999, Rs 4999 and Rs 9999 get the 100 percent cashback offer. Additionally, you can also get a flat Rs 300 cashback on payments made via mobile wallets like Paytm, Mobikwik, PhonePe and Amazon Pay.
The offer is only valid for Prime customers and is applicable on recharge done via both offline and online channels. On the company’s website, Jio states that to redeem the cashback coupons at Reliance Digital stores, the cart value has to be a minimum of Rs 5,000. You can’t redeem multiple coupons together.
The cashback offer is valid till November 30 and you have time till December 31, 2018 to redeem the cashback coupons. Interestingly, you cannot redeem the coupons on products like Xiaomi and Samsung phones, Lenovo and Samsung tablets, Seagate, Western Digital and Sony Hard Disks at the Reliance Digital stores.
You can however, buy a laptop priced over Rs 35,000 from Reliance Digital outlets and get a free JioFI 4G dongle along with data benefits worth Rs 3,000. You will also get a Jio Prime membership, 2GB data every day for 168 days and 10 vouchers for 6GB data. For laptops below Rs 35,000, you will have to pay an additional amount of Rs 999 to avail the offer. LG smart TV-buyers are also eligible for the offer and will get 1.5GB data every day for 84 days, along with 3 vouchers of 10GB data and a Jio Prime membership.
The JioPhone 2 will also be on sale from November 5 to 12. Buyers will get a Rs 200 cashback on payments made via Paytm app. This is the first time the JioPhone 2 will be available on an open sale as opposed to multiple flash sales so far.
The company is also offering the Jio Phone gift card that it introduced in October this year. The gift card extends to benefits of the Monsoon Hungama offer through a Rs 1,095 gift voucher. The gift card allows the exchange of an old feature phone for a refundable deposit of Rs 501. For another Rs 594, the user can get 6 months of unlimited voice calls and 4G data, and an additional data voucher worth Rs 10.
There are new prepaid and postpaid recharge plans for the Jio Phone and the Jio Phone 2. You can get 1GB 4G data for Rs 49, along with unlimited voice calls and 50 SMS for 28 days. The Rs 99 pack offers 500 MB 4G data per day and 300 SMS and unlimited voice calls. The Rs 153 recharge pack also offers 1.5GB data per day, free voice calls and 100 SMS for 28 days.
Finally, the company is offering a Rs 2,200 cashback on the purchase of a new 4G smartphone. This is a continuation of the same offer most new smartphones get. You can get the cashback in the form of 44 vouchers of Rs 50 each in the MyJio app. You will have to recharge the same 4G smartphone using the vouchers though.
