Here’s everything that you need to know about the BSNL Rs 485 plan.

BSNL Rs 485 Plan benefits and validity

BSNL Rs 485 plan offers 2GB daily data benefit along with unlimited voice calling, and 100 SMS per day for a validity of 72 days. This means users will get a total of 144GB of data, which is more than enough for browsing, social media, video calls, or even light streaming. For those who rely on mobile data for work or entertainment, this is the best plan in the sub-Rs 500 price range. After data exhaustion, speeds are throttled to 40 kbps.

The plan also includes unlimited calling, both local and STD. Additionally, BSNL is also offering a 2% discount if users recharge through its official website or the BSNL Selfcare app.

While BSNL still lags behind private telcos like Jio and Airtel when it comes to 4G speeds and 5G rollout, this plan is clearly aimed at users who prioritise value over speed. In many rural and semi-urban areas where BSNL still has a strong network presence, this plan could be great for users.
