Xolo Win Q900s, WP 8.1-based smartphone up for sale at Rs. 9,999
Xolo Win Q900s budget Windows Phone 8.1 based smartphone launched, features dual sim, quad-core processor and weighs just 100 grams.
Xolo's first Windows Phone smartphone, the Win Q900s is now available in India for Rs. 9,999. The smartphone was initially announced back in June and is now available for pre-order at e-commerce retailer Snapdeal.com. Xolo has confirmed that the smartphone will now be available across physical retail stores as well.
According to Xolo, the Win Q900s weighs just 100 grams, making it one of the lightest Windows Phone smartphones available. It has a 4.7-inch HD IPS OGS display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. The Win Q900s is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor paired with 1GB of RAM.
The Xolo Win Q900s supports dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) with dual standby, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB connectivity options. It has an 8 MP rear camera with PureCel sensor and LED flash as well as a 2 MP front camera. The Win Q900s has 8GB of inbuilt storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot.
The smartphone is powered by an 1800mAh battery, which according to the company, delivers up to 14 hours of talk time and up to 246 hours of standby time on 3G network. The Win Q900s smartphone is available in Black colour only. The Xolo Win Q900s competes with the recently announced Micromax Canvas Win W092 and Canvas Win W121 in the sub 10K price segment.
Xolo had announced an Android variant of the Win Q900s in June, called the Q900s. The smartphone has a 4.7-inch qHD IPS display, quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) and runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
