Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 features a 5.5-inch full HD display and unibody metal build similar to its predecessor. The device is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 625 chipset and offers up to 4GB RAM.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will be available for sale today on Flipkart and Mi.com at 12 noon. The smartphone will be made available in all three storage variants along with the matte black colour option. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is the first smartphone launch from the Chinese company in India this year.

The Redmi Note 4 was first introduced in China in August and its Snapdragon variant was launched for the Indian market on January 19. Xiaomi VP Manu Jain has already indicated that the company plans to sell around 7 million Redmi Note 4 units in India. Xiaomi sold over 2,50,000 units of Redmi Note 4 during the first sale held on January 23. The handset features a 5.5-inch full HD display and unibody metal build similar to its predecessor. Powering the device is the battery-efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset coupled with 4100mAh battery.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is available in three storage options – 2GB RAM and 3GB RAM variants getting 32GB storage, while the 4GB RAM variants doubles the storage to 64GB. There is standard gold and grey colour option with 4GB RAM variant coming in additional matte black colour.

Xiaomi has also updated the camera on Redmi Note 4 with a new 13MP rear sensor supporting phase detection autofocus and 1.12 micron pixel size. There is a 5MP front camera with support for real-time beautification filters. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 runs MIUI 8.0 based on Android Marshmallow with Nougat update available in beta channels.
