The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 series has officially been launched in India, marketing its global launch in the process
The smartphones are available for purchase on the brand’s website along with Amazon, Flipkart, and specific third-party retailers.
They will be available for purchase starting January 11
A launch event for the Redmi Note 12 Series 5G in India marked the international debut of the new smartphone series. The series includes the Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, and Redmi Note 12 Pro+, and these are said to be identical to the smartphones released in China.
Redmi Note 12 specifications and price
The Redmi Note 12 has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that has a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone runs on the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset. The Redmi Note 12 is available in two models, one with a 4/128 GB configuration and the other with a 6/128 GB configuration. The former costs ₹ 15,499 while the latter costs ₹17,499. The smartphone is available in black and green.
Redmi Note 12 Pro specifications and price
The Redmi Note 12 Pro is slightly smaller than the Redmi Note 12, but has the same overall design. The smartphone has a Dimensity 1080 chipset along with a 5,000 mAh battery that can support 67W fast charging. It also has a 50MP primary camera. The base variant of the smartphone has a 6/128 GB configuration, and costs ₹24,999, the mid-tier model has an 8/128 GB configuration and costs ₹26,999 while the top model has an 8.256 GB configuration and it costs ₹27,999. The smartphone is available in three colours, black, blue and pink.
Redmi Note 12 Pro+ specifications and price
The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ has an OLED panel is the top variant of the series. It comes with Samsung’s ISOCELL HPX sensor for the 200MP camera along with a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.
The base variant of the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ has a configuration of 8/265 GB and costs ₹25,999, while the top model has a 12/256 GB configuration and costs ₹28,999. It comes in black, blue and white.
It is important to note that the Redmi Note 12 Discover which has a 4,300 mAh battery and 210W fast charging support will only be available in Chinese markets. The same goes for the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed (so far).
