The sale begins from 12:00pm and the device starts at Rs. 6,999 for the base variant with 2GB RAM/16GB storage
Xiaomi’s Redmi 4 smartphone will be on sale today. As before, the device will be up for flash sale on Amazon from 12:00 pm. The device was launched in three versions, the base version with 2GB RAM/16GB storage is priced at Rs. 6,999, while the one with 3GB RAM/32GB storage is priced at Rs. 8,999. The top-end variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is pricefd at Rs. 10,999.
The Redmi 4 is the successor to the Redmi 3S and sports a 5-inch HD display. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 435 platform and is equipped with a 4100mAH battery. At the back is a 13MP primary camera, while at the front is a 5MP camera. You can read our review of the phone here.
The Redmi 4 is the third device launched by Xiaomi this year after the Redmi 4A and the Redmi Note 4. During its first sale, the company claimed that it sold more than 250,000 units of the device within eight minutes of the sale. The company also said that it received 2.3 million ‘Notify Me’ alerts from customers and over 10 million hits per minute on the site.
