Xiaomi’s two budget smartphones will be available for sale starting 12:00 PM
Xiaomi’s Redmi 3S and the 3S Prime will be up for sale once again at 12:00 PM on Amazon today. The two devices are priced at Rs. 6,999 and Rs. 8,999 respectively, and are amongst the best devices one can buy in that category. The two devices are quite similar, but the 3S Prime offers more RAM and storage, as well as a fingerprint sensor. The two devices were launched in India in August last year.
Both smartphones sport a metal body design and sport a 5-inch 720p display. They are powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC. The two devices sport a 4100mAh battery, which is the same battery capacity as the larger Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. At the back of the devices is a 13MP primary camera with PDAF, while at the front is a 5MP shooter. Both devices run on Android Marshmallow v6.0, and feature a hybrid SIM slot. The Redmi 3S offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, while the 3S Prime comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The devices are available in Gold, Grey and Dark Grey variants.
