The Mi Mix 2 features a 5MP front camera and like its predecessor, it is placed at the lower end of the device. Xiaomi has also redesigned the audio output with a hidden speaker similar to Andy Rubin's Essential Phone.

The Mi Mix 2 runs MIUI 9 based on Android 7.0 Nougat and offers a comparatively smaller 3400mAh battery. The Mi Mix 2 is priced at 3,299 Yuan (around Rs 33,000) for the 6GB RAM, 64GB storage variant. Xiaomi is known for competitively pricing its smartphones in the Indian market and with Mi Mix 2, it might take on best-selling OnePlus 5 and the recently launched Nokia 8 mid-range flagship devices.
