Xiaomi claims to have sold 1 million units of Redmi Note 4 in India, in just 45 days. The company says the Redmi Note 4 is the fastest to have hit the 1 million sales mark here. The Redmi Note 4 was launched with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 625 chipset on January 19.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is available from Flipkart and the Mi Store and Xiaomi earlier claimed to have sold over 2,50,000 units in its first sale. For Xiaomi, the Redmi series has been the best selling smartphone and it shouldn't come as a surprise that the company is selling a lot of Redmi Note 4 units. In a recent interview, Manu Jain, Xiaomi VP and India Managing Director, said that his company plans to sell 7 million units of the Redmi Note 4 in India.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, like its predecessor, features a 5.5-inch full HD display and an all metal design. The smartphone comes in three different storage options: 2 and 3GB RAM models with 32GB storage and a 4GB RAM variant with 64GB storage. It has an a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 houses a 4100mAh battery and is made available in Gray, Gold and Black colour options. The Redmi Note 4 features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. In our review, we observed that "Redmi Note 4 is an improvement over its predecessor, but it's not enough of an improvement to seek an upgrade from last year's Note 3."
