The Xiaomi 14 has finally arrived in India. It was first rolled out in China as the first smartphone to feature the next-gen Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Along with that, it packs some really interesting camera capabilities, an all-new HyperOS, and much more. This smartphone will directly compete with the OnePlus 12 in the market. In this article, we are comparing both flagship smartphones. If you are thinking of buying a new flagship smartphone, this comparison could give you some idea.

Xiaomi 14 vs OnePlus 12: Display

The Xiaomi 14 features a 6.36-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED display with 68-billion color, HDR 10+, Dolby Vision, 120Hz refresh rate, and 3000 nits peak brightness. The display is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

In comparison, the OnePlus 12 boasts a 6.82-inch 2K LTPO AMOLED display supporting 10-bit color, HDR 10+, Dolby Vision, 120Hz refresh rate, and 4500 nits peak brightness. It is shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

If you ask me, the Xiaomi 14 is the one I’ll choose. Why? Because it is equipped with an OLED panel, which is slightly better than an AMOLED panel. However, the OnePlus 12 has a significantly bright display but do we really need that much brightness in our phones?

Moreover, this chipset is paired with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage in both smartphones. These smartphones are pretty much similar in terms of performance, but what makes a difference here is their Android 14-based UIs. The Xiaomi 14 runs on HyperOS, and Oxygen OS 14 in the OnePlus 12.
