Back in July 2022, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 12S Ultra flagship, which made headlines for being the first smartphone in the world to sport a 1-inch camera sensor. While this smartphone was only launched in China, its successor, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, is going to see a global launch. Many reports indicate that this smartphone will launch in the second quarter of 2023, although there are already rumours regarding a delay. TechGoing, a Chinese tipster, has claimed that the smartphone will be launched in April, and rumours of delays are just those… rumours.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is believed to have an E6 AMOLED display with curved edges. This smartphone will also have the 1-inch Sony IMX989 50-megapixel camera that was seen on the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. It will run on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. There are also some speculations regarding the highest specifications of the smartphone. It is believed that it will come with 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of native storage.

The base model of the Xiaomi 12S Ultra’s base model, which offered 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, was priced at 5,999 Yuan at the time of launch, which is roughly ₹72,254.06. According to the tipster, the price of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be the same as the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. This means that the starting variant of the series may be priced at around ₹72,254.06.
