Windows Phone 8.1 based Celkon Win 400 launched at Rs. 4,979

Celkon Win 400 launched, features quad-core snapdragon processor, dual-sim support and Windows Phone 8.1 OS.

Celkon has unveiled its first Windows Phone 8.1 based Win 400 smartphone for Rs. 4,979 officially at an event in Hyderabad. The budget Celkon Win 400 features dual-sim and has a quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor.

The Celkon Win 400 has a 4-inch HD IPS display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution. It has a 1.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor with 512MB of RAM. The budget smartphone has a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 1.3 MP front camera. It has 4 GB of inbuilt storage expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. The smartphone packs a 1500mAh battery which according to the company delivers 5 hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby time. Connectivity options included are dual-sim, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS and Micro-USB.

The Celkon Win 400 is available in Black and White colors. Priced at Rs 4979 the Celkon Win 400 is India's cheapest Windows Phone 8.1 based smartphone. The device competes with Karbonn Titanium Wind W4 smartphone that was launched in September at a slightly higher price tag of Rs 5999.
