Yet another quad-core Android smartphone has been launched in the Indian market, featuring the MediaTek MT6589T chipset.
WickedLeak has launched a yet another Android 4.2 Jelly Bean phablet, called the Wammy Passion Z . The smartphone is the successor to the Passion Z smartphone launched earlier this year. It sports a 5-inch full HD IPS with 1920×1080 pixel resolution and scratch resistant Dragon Trail Glass (OGS).
The Wickedleak Wammy Passion Z plus is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6589 Turbo 1.5 GHz processor and runs on the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. The smartphone is paired with PowerVR SGX544MP GPU and 1GB of RAM. It comes with 4GB of built-in storage, expandable via microSD card slot to 64 GB.
The Passion Z Plus has a 13-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor and is capable of 1080p HD video recording. The phone also has a 2MP front-facing camera for video calling. The Passion Z has a powerful 2,500mAh battery, and offers the usual array of connectivity options like 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB. It has dual-SIM (2G 3G) support.
The Wammy Passion Z is priced at Rs. 15,990 and is available for pre-order on WickedLeak. The phone is available in black and white colour options and will start shipping from July 25th according to the company site. The Passion Z plus will face stiff competition from devices like Micromax Canvas 4 and Xolo Play T1000. Both the devices run on the latest Android Jelly Bean OS and have powerful quad core processors.
