Vodafone offers Rs 1500 cashback if you stick with these Samsung smartphones for 2 years

New and existing Vodafone customers (both prepaid and postpaid) will get a Rs 1,500 discount on buying the Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro, Galaxy J7 Nxt and the Galaxy J7 Max smartphones.

Vodafone has announced a new cashback offer on select Samsung smartphones. Existing and new Vodafone subscribers buying the Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro, Galaxy J7 Nxt and the Galaxy J7 Max will be eligible for Rs 1500 discount if they recharge with Rs 198 recharge consecutively for 2 years. 

Users will receive a Rs 600 cashback after the end of first 12 months and another Rs 900 cashback after a period of another 12 months in their Vodafone M-Pesa wallets. So after the cashback, the effective price of the Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro comes down to Rs 6,990 against its MOP (Market Operating Price) of Rs 8,490. Similarly, the Galaxy J7 Nxt and the Galaxy J7 Max will be effectively priced at Rs 8,990 and Rs 15,400, down from their MOP of Rs 10,490 and Rs 16,900 respectively.

Vodafone’s Rs 198 recharge offers unlimited local and STD calls with 1GB of 4G/3G data per day. However, Vodafone says that the customer can also opt for any other recharge, but it should culminate to Rs 198 per month to be eligible for the cashback. Their postpaid customers can also receive the cashback by going for any one of Vodafone Red Plans

Speaking about the offer, Avneesh Khosla, Associate Director of Consumer Business, Vodafone India said, “We are incentivizing our customers to enjoy the Vodafone SuperNet 4G data strong network on some of Samsung’s most popular 4G Smartphones. With this partnering, we now offer cashback over the widest spectrum of 4G smartphones across various price points. This is in line with our strategy to democratize data and make 4G more accessible. Our offer with Samsung will encourage customers to buy/upgrade their smartphones for a richer voice and data experience.” Vodafone says the new offer will be available at different locations later this month.
