Vodafone launches ‘All in One’ plans for Samsung Galaxy S4

With special plans the Samsung Galaxy S4, Vodafone says users can save up to Rs 12,000 per year.

Vodafone has launched special bundled plans for the newly launched Samsung Galaxy S4. The ‘All in One’ tariff plan offers unlimited Internet usage and discounted SMS and call tariffs. The plan is available for Vodafone’s both prepaid and postpaid customers.

Postpaid users can avail unlimited Internet usage (3GB allowance), 3000 local and STD minutes, 750 local and STD messages and missed call intimation for 12 months, for a monthly rental of Rs. 1199.

Vodafone claims users can save up to Rs. 1,000 per month with the plan. It explains:

3000 minutes x 50p per minute = Rs 1500
Unlimited 3GB Internet = Rs 650/month
750 SMS x 10p per SMS = Rs 75
MCI = Rs 30/month
Total per month = Rs. 2255
You save more than Rs 1000 per month i.e. savings of up to Rs. 12,000 per year

It’s notable after usage of 3GB, speed will be reduced to 64kbps. After consumption of free units, voice calls will be charged at Rs. 0.30/0.50/0.50 for Local mobile/STD mobile/All landlines. Local and National SMS will be charged at Rs. 0.50/SMS.

MCI will be free only for one year if you continue on the above plan. After one year MCI will be deactivated.

For prepaid users, Vodafone is offering two recharge options:

First up is the Rs. 678 plan that includes 1000 minutes (Local & STD), unlimited Internet (1GB allowance) and 500 SMS (Local and national). The plan is valid till 30 days.

For Rs. 345, the company offers 500 minutes (Local & STD), unlimited Internet (512MB allowance) and 250 SMS (Local and national). The plan is valid till 15 days.

To subscribe the “All in One” plan, prepaid users need to insert the existing Vodafone SIM on the Galaxy S4 handset. You will get an SMS within 24 hours of inserting the SIM in the Galaxy S4. Follow the instructions as per the SMS.
