The Chinese smartphone maker has launched the Vivo Y19 5G in India, with several upgrades over its predecessor, the Y18 5G, which was released in May 2024. The device is specifically designed for students and features an IPS LCD panel, a MediaTek Dimesity chipset, a dual camera sensor, and a large battery. The device also gets IP64 dust and water resistance, SGS certification, and MIL-STD 810H military-grade durability. Vivo Y19 5G price in India, availability

The Vivo Y19 5G price in India starts at Rs 10,499 for the 4GB and 64GB storage variants, while the 4GB and 128GB variants are priced at Rs 11,499. The top-tier 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant costs Rs 12,999. The device is available for purchase through Flipkart, Vivo India’s e-store and retail channel partners. Buyers can also receive an instant bank discount of up to Rs 750 by using select bank cards. Student buyers can also receive a Rs 500 discount. It will come in two colours: Titanium Silver and Majestic Green.

The Vivo Y19 5G gets a 6.74-inch HD+ IPS display and a 90Hz refresh rate panel. The device also offers an 840 nits peak brightness and TÜV Low Blue Light technology. The device comes powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC paired with up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM. It runs on Android 15-based FunTouch OS 15 and offers AI features like AI Erase, AI Photo Enhance, and AI Documents. The device houses a 5,500mAh battery and 15W charging.

As for cameras, the device features a 13MP primary camera along with a 0.08MP secondary camera. On the front, the device offers a 5MP selfie camera.
