Vivo is gearing up to launch a new V-series smartphone, the Vivo V50, in India this month. This new model will succeed the Vivo V40 and is expected to bring several upgrades. Let’s take a closer look at what to expect from the upcoming Vivo V50 smartphone.
Vivo has confirmed that the V50 will launch in India on February 17 at 12PM. It will be available in three colour options: Rose Red, Starry Night and Titanium Grey.
The Vivo V50 smartphone is expected to sport a 6.7-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, this handset will likely be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
A 6,000mAh battery will likely power the device, along with 90W fast charging support. The phone is also expected to have IP68 and IP69 ratings.
For photography, the Vivo V50 is expected to house a 50MP primary camera, along with a 50MP ultra-wide sensor. On the front, there is a 50MP selfie shooter. Vivo might also introduce AI-powered photography tools such as Wedding Portrait Studio, AI Studio Light Portrait 2.0, and more.
