Vivo is reportedly planning to expand its V50 smartphone lineup with the Vivo V50 Elite. The upcoming smartphone will join the Vivo V50 and V50e, which were released earlier this year. While no official information is available, a recent report suggests that the V50 Elite will include features similar to the Vivo V50. However, it may differ in design. The Vivo V50 features a quad-curved display with a punch-hole on the front and a keyhole-shaped camera module on the back.

According to a report by 91Mobiles, Vivo may launch V50 Elite edition in India on May 15. However, the company is yet to share any details.

The upcoming Vivo V50 is expected to pack similar features as its vanilla counterpart. According to reports, it may boast a 6.77-inch FHD+ quad-curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive peak brightness of 4,500 nits. The handset may offer 2392×1080 pixels resolution. For performance, the device will likely get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and run on Android 15-based FuntouchOS 15 out of the box.
In terms of camera, the phone may ship with a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 50MP wide-angle camera at the back and a 50MP front sensor for selfies and video calls. Additionally, the phone could pack a 6,000mAh battery with 90W fast wired charging.
Other leaked details include an IP68 and IP69 rated water and dust resistance.

Vivo V50 Elite price (expected)
The Vivo V50 was unveiled at a starting price of Rs 34,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant and the purported Vivo V50 Elite is speculated to be pricier than the vanilla model. The smartphone could be priced at around Rs 40,000 for the base variant.
