Vivo V50 Elite India launch date set for May 15: Here’s what we know so far
Vivo V50 Elite edition will officially launch in India on May 15, 2025.
It is expected to feature a 50MP + 50MP dual rear camera setup.
The handset is likely to feature a 6.77" FHD+ 120Hz quad-curved AMOLED.
Vivo has officially confirmed the launch of Vivo V50 Elite edition in India. The phone will be unveiled on May 15, 2025. The company has teased the upcoming handset via X (formerly Twitter), hinting at ZEISS-powered camera rear camera system. Apart from these, Vivo hasn’t shared any further official details about the Vivo V50 Elite edition. However, reports suggest that the phone could ship with features similar to the Vivo V50, which debuted earlier this year. The handset is likely to join Vivo V50 and V50e.

Vivo V50 Elite edition design
As teased officially by the company itself, the Vivo V50 Elite edition may sport a circular camera module supported by ZEISS on the rear panel. Vivo is yet to complete glimpses of the device.

A previous report has suggested that the upcoming Vivo V50 Elite edition may ship with similar features as its standard counterpart- Vivo V50. The latter features a 6.77-inch FHD+ quad-curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 4500nits peak brightness.
It comes with a dual rear camera setup, co-powered by ZEISS. The rear camera setup comprise a 50MP main camera with OIS and a 50MP ultrawide camera and on the front, it comes with a 50MP selfie camera. Furthermore, the device is backed by a 6000mAh battery supported by a 90W fast charging.
Other key highlights include an IP68 and IP69 rated water and dust resistance, and pre-installed Funtouch OS 15.

Vivo V50 Elite edition price (Expected)
The standard Vivo V50 comes at a starting price of Rs 34,999 for the 8GB+128GB configuration. So, Vivo V50 Elite edition is expected to be priced anywhere between Rs 35,000 and Rs 40,000 for the base configuration.
