Vivo has launched the V5 Plus, its second selfie-centric smartphone, following the launch of V5 in November. Vivo V5 Plus is the first smartphone from the Chinese company to feature a dual front camera setup.

The Vivo V5 Plus features a 5.5-inch 1080p display with Corning's Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. Under the hood, the smartphone boasts of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor aided by 4GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage. The device runs Funtouch OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Vivo V5 Plus comes with a 16MP rear camera similar to the Vivo V5. The smartphone sports a combination of 20MP and 8MP cameras upfront with support for features like bokeh mode and refocus after a picture is shot. The front camera also comes with soft glow LED flash called Moonlight Flash.

Vivo V5 Plus houses a 3160mAh battery with support for fast charging. The smartphone's home button doubles up as fingerprint sensor. The smartphone also supports Hi-Fi audio like all other Vivo smartphones in the past.

Vivo V5 Plus is priced at Rs 27,980 and will be available in Gold and Gray colour options. The smartphone is available for pre-registration starting tomorrow and the first sale will be held on February 1. Read our full review here.
