HIGHLIGHTS

According to the listing, a smartphone with model number V1821A scored 2220 in the single-core test and 8467 in multi-core tests.

There has been not much talk about Vivo Nex 2, also known as Vivo Nex 2S internationally, on the internet. It was only last week that a video came out showing the smartphone in its entirety. That major development is now followed with a Geekbench listing in which the smartphone is seen running on Snapdragon 845 processor and 10GB RAM. This comes as a surprise because the original Vivo Nex smartphone also featured a Snapdragon 845 processor.

According to the listing, a smartphone with model number V1821A (believed to be Vivo Nex 2) is loaded with Android 9 Pie OS. In the single-core test, the handset recorded a score of 2220 in single core tests and its multi-core test score is 8467. The specifications of the rumoured phone have surfaced in bits and pieces, and reportedly it has already been approved by 3C authority in China. The smartphone is expected to come with a support for 22.5W rapid charging technology.

The device is reported to have two displays – a 6.5-inch display on the front and a 5.5-inch display on the back. The Vivo Nex 2 is likely to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. When it comes to the camera, previous leaks have suggested that the device will feature RGB glowing ring around the primary camera setup called the “Lunar Ring”. It is expected to glow in RGB colours and also light up to provide notification indications. It is expected that one will be able to click selfies with the help of second display and the primary camera setup at the back. This also suggests that the phone might completely skip a front camera.
