HTC is preparing a new mid-range Android smartphone called the Desire 620 which will be sport dual-front speakers and a 5-inch 720p display.
A brand new mid-ranged smartphone from HTC is expected to arrive soon and we have confirmation thanks to some hands-on pictures from a Bulgarian website (Nixanbal.com). The new handset will probably carry the name Desire 620.
The handset looks pretty good even though it comes with an all plastic body. It will feature dual-front speakers above and below the 5-inch 720p display, a quad-core 1.2GHz processor (which could be a 64-bit Snapdragon 410) with an Adreno 306 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, an 8MP rear and a 5MP front camera, Android 4.4.4 KitKat with Sense 6 and a 2100mAh removable battery.
The specs sound promising and even the build and design of the smartphone is appealing. The crucial point here would be for HTC to price this handset as there is stiff competition in the mid-range segment especially in south-east Asian countries. Do you think the Desire 620 can make heads turn?
