Sony Xperia Z1f goes official; features 4.3-inch 720p display, 20.7MP camera
The Sony Xperia Z1f a.k.a Xperia Z1 mini has been officially announced. The smartphone features innards similar to its larger sibling.
Sony has officially introduced its Xperia Z1f smartphone for the Japanese market. The smartphone, previously rumoured as the Z1 mini and Honami mini, is a variant of Sony’s flagship Z1 smartphone, inheriting all the features of its larger sibling.
The main difference between the Z1 and Z1f is the size of display. While the Z1 features a 5.0 full HD display, the Z1f sports a 4.3-inch 1280×720 resolution display. The Z1F innards are similar to the Z1. The smartphone features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset with 2.2GHz quad-core CPU and Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage with microSD card slot.
The Xperia Z1f sports the same 20.7MP EXMOR sensor as on the Z1. The smartphone is powered by a 2,300mAh battery. For connectivity, it supports LTE, NFC and Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/a.
The Xperia Z1 f will be available in four color options – black, white. lime, and pink. There’s no word on the Z1f pricing and info on availability in other markets.
