Sony has launched the Xperia X, and XA in India at Rs. 48,990 and Rs. 20,990 respectively. Both phones have dual-SIM capabilities with support for 4G and will be available at retail stores and online via Amazon. The Sony Xperia X will be available from June 7 onwards and the device can be pre-booked at authorised Sony mobile dealers or online via Amazon. The phone is available in White, Graphite Black, Lime Gold, and Rose Gold colour variants. The Xperia XA will be available from the third week of June and will be available in the same colour variants as the Xperia X. Further, customers will also receive free content from Sony LIV, Hungama Play, Kindle, and Gameloft worth Rs. 2,700 in total. 

The Sony Xperia X sports a 5-inch Full HD display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 SoC with 3GB of RAM. At the back is a 23MP camera with Sony’s Predictive Hybrid Autofocus technology, which the company developed in collaboration with its α camera engineers, while at the front is a 13MP camera. The Xperia X also offers 64GB of storage and features a 2620mAh battery, which Sony claims can offer two days of battery life thanks to its Smart Battery Management system. 

The Sony Xperia XA features a 5-inch HD Display and is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 SoC with 2GB of RAM. There is a 13MP camera located at the back of the device, while at the front is an 8MP camera with an 88-degree wide angle lens. The device offers 16GB of storage and features a 2300mAh battery, which Sony says can last two days. Both the devices run Android Marshmallow v6.0.
