Sony India launches Xperia T2 Ultra, the latest addition to its new large-screen smartphone portfolio.

Sony has officially announced the launch of its Xperia T2 Ultra phablet in India. Priced at Rs. 25,990, the T2 Ultra has a 6-inch 720p display with 245ppi pixel density. There’s a dual-SIM version as well.

The Sony Xperia T2 Ultra runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS and is powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm MSM8928 quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It has 13MP camera pulsed LED flash and auto focus, burst mode, HDR for both picture/film and 16x digital zoom. It has 1.1MP front facing camera.

The Xperia T2 Ultra has 8GB of built-in storage, expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. For connectivity, the phablet supports 2G, 3G, 4G, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB, Wi-Fi and WiFi Hotspot functionality, NFC and aGPS. The phablet comes preloaded with a slew of apps including Sony Select, WALKMAN, Clear Audio , xLoud Experience, FM Radio with RDS and lots more.

Sony’s new Android phablet is set to take on the likes of the Moto X, Google Nexus 4, Gionee Elife E7 and Nokia Lumia 1320 in the Indian market.
