Sony’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich-based Xperia Miro smartphone is now available in India via online retailer Snapdeal. Priced at Rs. 14,499, the Xperia Miro is said to have deeper Facebook integration. The device is however listed as ‘coming soon’ on Sony’s official India website.
Sony had introduced the Xperia Miro in June this year. The Xperia Miro is powered by an 800MHz processor and has 512MB of RAM. The device has 3.5-inch touchscreen with 320×480 pixels resolution. The Xperia Miro comes with a 5MP auto focus camera and also has a front facing camera for video calls. It has 4GB of built-in storage (2.2GB user accessible) and microSD card slot that supports storage up to 32GB.
Other features of the Sony Xperia Miro include Xperia Timescape UI, illumination alerts and xLOUD audio boosting technology. The device has various pre-loaded apps such as Google Voice Search, Google Talk, Google Talk video chat, Google Mail and Google Maps.
For connectivity, the Xperia Miro supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, microUSB, 3.5 mm jack and FM radio. The device comes with a 1,500 mAh battery, which is rated to deliver 5 hours of talk time, and 470 hours standby time. The Xperia Miro is available in two colours white and silver.
