Sony Xperia Honami to come with 4K video recording capabilities?
Leaked system dump of the rumoured Honami shows the device is capable of shooting 4K videos in 4000 x 2000 resolution.
Details about Sony’s Xperia Honami a.k.a Sony Sony C906 a.k.a Xperia i1 Honami have continued to surface on the web. Yesterday, we reported the leaked images of the handset, and now we have a system dump of the device has emerged. The fresh leak sheds light on the hardware and changes to the UI.
According to the system dump of the device, the Honami has a 20MP sensor and can record 4K videos in 4000 x 2000 resolution with aspect ratio of 2:1. Other camera features include ISO up to 12800 as well as a Steadyshot mode.
The device is supposed to come with a Timeshift burst (glorified burst mode) for imaging. Sony has also created a camera API that helps add functions to the camera app called “Xperia camera add-ons”. Sony is also planning to release a new Augmented Reality app with some screenshots mode.
The company will launch a new app called Info-Eye, which is said to be a visual search application based on kooaba. The application is believed to be similar to Nokia’s HERE City lens, which provides information about the places users visit and things around them. For music enthusiasts, the company will integrate Music Unlimited in Walkman. The handset seemingly runs on Snapdragon 800 processor.
There’s also major changes to UI with new design of clock, calendar, calculator and contacts. Users can also place multiple small apps on screen at once. There’s an improved keyboard as well.
