Sony may be working on yet another budget smartphone
HIGHLIGHTS

The Sony H4133 has been spotted on GFXBench, and sports the Snapdragon 630 chipset, along with 3GBRAM and 32GB ROM.

It seems Sony is really not done with the mid-ranged and budget segments after all. The company announced some Xperia R series phones in this segment recently, and it’s seemingly gearing up for more budget phones. A new smartphone, with the model number H4133, has been spotted on GFXBench. Interestingly, the phone seems very similar to the Sony H4233 that had also been seen on GFXBench earlier. Neither devices have actually made it to market yet.

The Sony H4133 apparently has a 5.2 inch display with 1920 x 1080p resolution. There’s also a mention of the Adreno 508 GPU, which has been associated with the Snapdragon 630 chipset. The phone apparently has 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage inside. Sony has chosen a 21 MP camera on the back, alongside an 8MP shooter on the front. The device will also run Android Oreo out of the box.

All that seems to put the phone against devices like the Motorola Moto X4 (review). The Sony H4233 mentioned above seems to be a variant of this device, with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM, while its other specifications remain the same. Speculations are that these two devices will fall in the Xperia H series, expected soon.

Further, given their specifications, the phones do fall in comparison with the Moto X4 and similar other phones. So, it’s possible that Sony will choose a similar pricing. Also, given that the Xperia R series was launched specifically in India, it’s likely that these phones will also be sold here.
