Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold could launch timeline (Expected)

Samsung is reportedly preparing to showcase its first-ever tri-folding smartphone at the upcoming APEC summit, scheduled for October 31–November 1 in Gyeongju, South Korea, according to Yonhap News Agency.

The device is likely to be branded as the Galaxy Z TriFold. Unlike the traditional single-hinge design, the upcoming handset will likely feature two hinges, allowing it to fold into three distinct panels, a design that promises versatility across smartphone and tablet-like modes.

Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold specifications (Expected)

The Galaxy Z TriFold has a 10-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen, the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, up to 16GB RAM, and 256GB-1TB storage. It will run Android 16-based One UI 8.0 out of the box.

On its back, the phone will likely feature a 200MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera with autofocus, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. It could also have two 10MP selfie cameras.

When it is fully open, it will have a screen as big as a full-sized tablet. When it is fully closed, it will have a phone-like screen. When it is partially open, it will offer a Galaxy Z Fold 7-like, decently large screen. There is no information about the device’s battery capacity.
