Samsung has formally begun rolling out the OneUI 7 update for Galaxy S23 series users in India after releasing it for the Galaxy S24 series, Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6 last week. Interestingly, this comes way earlier than we were expecting. Now, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra users can download the Android 15 update and get access to different Galaxy AI features, visual tweaks, new camera and menu layout along with enhanced options for widgets.

One UI 7 features
The new OneUI 7 update on the Galaxy S23 series brings now modernised interface with redesigned icons, widgets, and menus. The control panel and notification panel have also been modified. The home screen now supports a symmetrical grid layout. The users can also customise their lockscreen with new widgets. Additionally, the Edge Panel is also removed.
The new update also brings the Gemini AI voice assistant which will help in different tasks including Calendar, Clock, Notes, and Reminders. It has also brought features like call transcription, summarisation, Drawing Assist tool, and enhanced writing tools.

The OneUI 7 update also brings the Now Bar feature that offers real-time notifications, and better access to content like Maps, Media, Samsung Health, and more.
Additionally, the camera app also got some major design changes. It includes improvements in Pro Mode. It also gets the Best Face feature that helps capture ideal expressions in group photos.
Last but not least, new widgets, better Weather apps with activity forecasts, and new levels of battery protection to help manage long-term battery health have been added.
OneUI 7 for Galaxy S23 series: How to download
Users must go to Settings and select Software Update. Now, select the Download and Install option and follow the prompts. Ensure that the device is charged or plugged into the charging mode.
