The update also includes the September 1, 2025, Android security patch for the Galaxy S25 devices. Additionally, changelog comes with automatic call captioning for improved accessibility and Now Brief, a new functionality that offers contextual updates in a snapshot.
Samsung One UI 8: How to download
Users will receive an automatic notification once the update is made available on their device. Those who want to check manually can head to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
Until now, the stable version of One UI 8 was limited to the company’s latest foldables – the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. Additionally, the update has also been made available to Samsung S25 FE and some newly launched mid-range phones as well.
Notably, Samsung has not yet revealed the complete list of devices that will get the update this month. However, with the S25 series now getting the update, more S-series and A-series devices are expected to receive the stable rollout soon.
Meanwhile, Samsung has confirmed that One UI 8 Watch will also expand beyond the Galaxy Watch 8 series later this year, though a specific timeline is still awaited.
