Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ were made official just few days back and now the company has added another variant specifically for the Korean market. As spotted by Android Headlines, Samsung has added Galaxy S8+ with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage in Korea.
The newly announced Galaxy S8+ is identical to the smartphone introduced in New York on March 29. Earlier rumours indicated that Galaxy S8 and S8+ will come with 6GB RAM in China and Korea. The smartphone with 6GB RAM storage received China's TENAA certification recently. Samsung is offering its DeX workstation for free with the 6GB RAM variant of Galaxy S8+ in Korea.
To recall, Galaxy S8+ features a 6.2-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display with thin bezels on the top and bottom. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 in the US and Exynos 8895 in other markets. The smartphone features a 12MP rear camera with dual-pixel autofocus and f/1.7 aperture. The front camera has been improved with 8MP sensor and support for wide-angle selfies. Samsung Galaxy S8+ houses a 3500mAh battery and runs TouchWiz UI-based Android 7.0 Nougat. The smartphone is currently available for preorder in select markets and will ship to customers starting April 21.
