Samsung is reportedly preparing to launch its next flagship, the Galaxy S27 Ultra, in India and other global markets. The company has not yet made any official announcement, but leaks and rumours have already hinted at how the phone may look. The CAD renders of the device surfaced online previously, giving fans a first idea of how it could differ from the current model. Now, newly leaked case renders appear to support those claims. Aside from the design, the rumours also point out that it may land with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen Extreme 6 chipset and UFS 5.0 storage. New case renders have appeared online, shared by tipster Sanju Chaudhary through his official X handle. The images offer a possible look at the design of the upcoming device, which closely resembles the CAD renders that leaked earlier. The latest case renders suggest that the device could feature a triple-camera setup on the rear, housed in a redesigned camera module.

Samsung has not yet officially confirmed the design of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra. Since these are pre-launch leaks, the details should be treated as unconfirmed.
Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra: Specs
The Galaxy S27 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.9-inch 2K LTPO display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and an anti-reflective coating. It is also tipped to bring a second-generation privacy display. The handset is rumoured to have an aluminium frame, IP68 protection against dust and water, and a thickness of 7.97mm. S Pen support is also expected to continue.
Under the hood, the phone is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen Extreme 6 chipset, paired with up to 16 GB of LPDDR6 RAM and 1 TB of UFS 5.0 storage. Talking about the camera, the device is expected to sport a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 1/2.5-inch sensor, and a 50MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. For selfies and video calls, it’s also expected to house a 16MP sensor at the front.
In terms of battery, the S27 Ultra is reportedly set to house a 5,700 mAh cell with support for 60 W wired charging and 25 W magnetic wireless charging. Samsung is also rumoured to offer seven years of software updates.

Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra: Launch timeline and price
If Samsung follows its usual launch timeline, then the Galaxy S27 Ultra could make its debut in the Indian market somewhere around late February or early March of 2027. Moreover, the rumours suggest that it could be priced around Rs 1.6 to 1.7 lakh.
