Samsung is said to be preparing to launch the Galaxy S26 series, its flagship lineup for the year 2026. While it is too early to say anything, leaks about the Galaxy S26 series have begun to surface online. And guess what? Leaks indicate that the company may also offer Qi2 magnetic charging. Not only that, but possible renders of the Galaxy S26 series have emerged, implying that the design may be heavily influenced by Apple’s rumoured iPhone 17 design.

This year, Samsung is also reportedly planning to make some changes in the entire lineup. The South Korean smartphone maker may introduce three models under the Galaxy S26 series- standard Galaxy S26 Pro, the premium Galaxy S26 Ultra, and a new Galaxy S26 Edge which replaces the “Plus” variant.
Samsung Galaxy S26 series: What’s cooking?
Taking to X, popular tipster Sonny Disckson has shared alleged images of the dummy units. The post suggests that the Galaxy S26 Pro and Galaxy S26 Ultra will look like the Galaxy S25 series. However, the fans may get to see a redesigned camera bump, much similar to the one we already saw on the Galaxy Z Fold 7.

The renders also suggest that both the Galaxy S26 Pro and Galaxy S26 Ultra could get a circular cutout on the back, speculating that the Qi2 wireless charging support may debut, a standard which Samsung has so far avoided. For the unversed, Google also introduced the Qi2 wireless charging support with its recently launched Pixel 10 series.
Speaking of the Galaxy S26 Edge, the device is said to get a completely new look with a horizontal camera bar, full width camera module and seems to be heavily inspired from Apple iPhone 17 series renders online. Samsung could be planning to put the Edge as a direct competitor to the iPhone 17 Air, which is rumoured to be ultra slim yet powerful.
