After Apple and Google, it’s Samsung’s premium lineup of devices, the S series’ time to get the yearly refresh. The Galaxy S23 series of devices have been leaked months before the launch. While Samsung hasn’t announced the devices officially, leaks suggest that the devices could be launched in the month of February of next year. 

In the latest leak shared by Ross Young, the CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (which has been deleted since), the upcoming Galaxy S23 series will arrive in at least four colour options. According to him, the S23 series will launch in Beige, Black, Green and Light Pink colours. Now let’s take a detailed look at the specifications of the upcoming devices from Samsung.

S23 Ultra

The S23 Plus could come with a 6.6-inch while the regular S23 will likely come with a smaller 6.1-inch display. Both the displays will likely come with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Both devices are said to pack the anticipated Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. 

In terms of optics, the phones could sport a triple-camera setup on the back. The phones are likely to sport a 50MP primary camera, along with a 12MP ultrawide camera and a 10MP telephoto camera. On the front camera, both devices could come with a 12MP camera.

As for the higher-end S23 Ultra, it could reportedly come with a 6.8-inch 120Hz QHD+ AMOLED display. The phone could have a boxy design, and there will even be an S Pen slot. Like the regular S23 and S23 Plus, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC could power the devices. In terms of battery and charging, the device could pack a 5000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.

In terms of optics, the phone is likely to feature a quad-camera setup with a 200MP primary camera sensor along with a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and a 10MP telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom.

That’s so far what’s rumored and expected from the upcoming Samsung flagships.
