The Samsung Galaxy S23 lineup will launch on February 1, 2023

The Samsung Galaxy S23 will be bringing a host of upgrades including improved low-light photography and a higher-resolution camera. Samsung China has posted teaser trailers that attest to the same, and the results are quite stunning. The Samsung Galaxy Ultra is said to come with a 200MP primary camera and these teasers could be a small preview of what the smartphone can offer.

What did the Samsung Galaxy S23 camera teasers show?

The two teasers show the triple camera setup and this indicates that they are featuring the Samsung Galaxy S23 and Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus (the Samsung Galaxy Ultra is rumoured to have a periscope lens, making it a quad-camera setup). One trailer has text saying “wow-worthy resolution is coming” with “megapixels that’ll make you say wooow.” The second trailer has text that says “stunning night photos are coming” with cameras that are “made for moonlight.”

Other feature improvements we can expect

The Samsung Galaxy S23 may offer a brighter display, however, this has not been confirmed. The speculation arises from the fact that the brand revealed a new OLED display that has 2,000 nits of brightness, and many believe that we may see this in Samsung’s flagship offerings this year itself. Other than that, the lineup will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which is Qualcomm’s flagship chipset for this year.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 will launch during the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event which is being held on February 1, 2023. The smartphone lineup will see a live launch and you can stream it for free on the brand’s website as well as on Youtube.
