Flipkart has teased the Galaxy S10 ‘Unpacked’ event launch on its platform. The ‘Unpacked’ event is originally taking place in San Francisco, where the South Korean company will unveil the Galaxy S10 devices. The banner on the e-commerce website has a ‘Notify Me’ button, and those who wish to get a reminder to catch all the action can tap on the button. The page then redirects you to another one where you can fill-in your details like an email address and phone number to get the notifications.

The launch event in San Francisco will start at 11AM on February 20, which translates to 12:30AM of February 21 India time. Samsung is expected to live stream the event on their official YouTube channel, Facebook and official website. Digit.in will update its readers as soon as it gets an official confirmation from the company. We will also be covering the event live to bring news about the products launched and then analysis on those devices.

As far as the India launch date is concerned, there is no official confirmation. However, given the company trend, India may get to see the phones sometime in March. Citing Early Pre-order page on Samsung Philippines, a report said that Samsung is also launching a Special Edition of the Galaxy S10+ with 1TB storage and 12GB RAM, and will make it available on March 15. There is no information on the availability other models.

Apart from the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+, Samsung is also reported to launch a 5G variant later this year. Last month, South Korean news platform ETNews cited a Samsung Executive who claimed that the company will launch the LTE versions of the phones in early March and “the 5G model in Korea in late March.” The report said that the Galaxy S10e, the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10 Plus are scheduled to be released on March 8, and the Galaxy S10 X will launch on March 29 in South Korea.

The phones will reportedly have Infinity-O displays, Qualcomm Snapdragon 855/Exynos 9820 SoCs, and multiple RAM and storage variants to choose from. It is speculated that the starting prices of the Galaxy S10e will likely to range from 800,000 won (approx Rs 50,600) to 900,000 (approx Rs 57,000) won, and 1.6 million (approx Rs 1 lakh) to 1.8 million won (approx Rs 1.13 lakh) for the highest-priced models.
