Samsung has quietly started the new year with a price revision that could impact many buyers across budget, mid-range and premium segments. The revised prices of several devices will come into effect from January 5, 2026. According to various reports, the company has hiked prices for several smartphones under the Samsung Galaxy series. These reportedly include popular models across categories. Industry sources say the hike is connected with the ongoing global shortage of AI-focused smartphone chips, which has increased the cost of production. A rise in component prices, supply chain pressure, and growing demand for on-device AI features are believed to be the reasons behind the price hike of the Samsung Galaxy devices.
